The 2026 RonranGlee Special Needs Teacher Literary Scholarship is designed to support students who are passionate about pursuing a career in special education. Special needs teachers play a vital role in shaping the lives of students with autism, Down syndrome, Alzheimer’s-related conditions, and other learning or developmental disabilities.
This scholarship was established based on the donor’s personal experience as a long-term caregiver for two family members with Alzheimer’s disease. Through years of caregiving, the donor recognized that special education teachers must possess exceptional patience, creativity, adaptability, discipline, and deep compassion for their profession.
The scholarship aims to assist future special education teachers so they can provide meaningful guidance, care, and educational support to the next generation of students.
